How to play the Canada Lottery Games at National and Regional Levels

Canada is a great place to live if your passion is playing lottery games. There are numerous national and regional options. Lotto Max and Lotto 6/49 are the national games. Only the Prairie Provinces, Territories and Western 649 have regional games, Payday, and Pick 3. The Interprovincial live draw sdy Lottery Corporation conducts the national lottery games in Canada. Lotto Max, Canada’s newest lottery game has just celebrated its first anniversary. The minimum jackpot is $10,000,000 and draws are held every Friday. The ticket costs $5 and includes three sets of seven numbers, ranging from 1 through 49. The bettor will choose the first combination while the machine selects the two remaining. Or the bettor may opt to have all three combinations automatically picked by the machine using the Quick Pick option. Max Millions is a special draw where the jackpot exceeds $50,000,000. Each winner will receive $1 million in prizes. Lotto 6/49 is the other national lottery game. Draws are held twice per week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Each ticket costs $2. To play, the bettor must choose six numbers from 1 through 49 from the play area on the slip.

You can play two 6-number combinations in Western 649 for as low as $1 per ticket. The machine will pick the winning combination, or you can choose Quick Pick to let the machine choose both. You can also play both Western 649 or Lotto 6/49 together. Both games will give you the same numbers. Payday games cost $2 each and give you either an annuity of $1,000 per week for life, or a lump sum prize of $675,000. You can choose from 14 combinations per ticket: 1 for the main prize, which you can choose yourself or ask the computer for; 2 for $50,000; 4 for $20,000; and 8 for $1,000. The field from 1 to 777 allows you to select combinations. Pick 3 is a game where you choose three numbers from 0-9 and then decide whether you wish to wager $1, $2 or $5. The size of the prize will depend on how much you wager.

You can play an Extra draw to win additional prizes, ranging from $250,000 up to $500,000 depending on the province where you are playing. You must opt in to receive extra numbers that are generated automatically on your ticket. However, they will not be eligible for any draw. You can choose to play Extra by marking yes under each area, or telling the clerk. Each number costs $1. For every regular combination of lottery numbers you have bet, you can play one Extra number. Before you leave the counter, make sure the Extra number has been activated.
